Training will spearhead significant change within the BDO member firms.
The leading audit and management consultancy firm, BDO Bahrain organized a three-day Train The Trainer (“TTT”) programme from September 20 to 22 for its member firms across the Middle East and North African region to prepare them for its new audit process tools.
BDO will roll out in September the revised BDO Audit Approach (BDOAA) and the new audit tool, the Audit Process Tool (APT).
The development of the BDOAA and APT was in line with the firm’s effort to strengthen the network through greater collaboration and seamless service delivery and deliver consistently high level of audit quality, Mr. Jawad Habib Jawad, BDO Senior Partner Middle East said in a statement.
Describing it as one of the most significant projects undertaken by BDO in recent years, Mr. Jawad Habib Jawad said participants were taught by a team of instructors drawn from the APT project team and those who took part in the pilot testing earlier this year. Participants were required to complete three short e-learning modules prior to attending the training.
“Each member firm have sent in a team of four people who would be responsible for training staff and partners in their firms. These instructors will be the key to the success of the APT implementation. As well as teaching the new methodology and tool, they will be spearheading a significant change within the member firms as teams move from what they are familiar with to the new, which is always a challenging process.”
